Entry Form Tips and Tricks
358 golfers. 24 tournaments.
This is a little more complicated than the pools were used to!
As a result, the entry form for the pool is also a little more complicated than we're used to. If you review these tips though, it might make your life a little easier.
- First off, if you don't want to use the website, then don't. Just email us your picks, or phone them in, or fax them. Whatever works for you. Well...actually...don't phone them in. Email would be OK though.
- You should probably print off the list of tournaments and golfers before you get too far. Studying these will help.
- The entry form has two sections: the golfers, and the tournaments.
- There is a link at the top of the entry form that says "Show/Hide..." and it pretty much does what it says. If you can't see any golfer names, click on the link and they will appear. If you don't want to clutter you screen with all those names, click the link and they will be hidden.
- It's a good idea to maximize your browser window so that you can see more of the form at once.
- Sorry if the font size is too small...you can use the View-->Text Size-->Larger menu in your browser to make the font bigger.
- Make sure you know all there is to know about the FedEx Cup. Some fields have a limited number of players. If you don't know the ins and outs of the tournaments, you might as well just give your money away. Check this out.
- The PGA Tour has labeled certain tournaments as "Signature Events". The payouts for these events is MUCH higher than non-Designated Events, so take this into consideration when making your picks. Read all about it.
- To actually make your picks, click on the dropdown in the box beside the tournament you are picking for and click on/select the name of your pick.
- Click "Submit" and you're off to the races. If there are any errors, the site will complain. Otherwise, you're good to go. Good luck!
